One of my rituals for each new year is to choose a word to influence me for the year. My word for 2011 is EXPERIMENT. To support my EXPERIMENTAL focus, I commit to post the results of a new experiment each Sunday of this year.
My friend Jane inspired my experiment this week. During her recent visit, I noticed she was drinking vitamin enriched water. Like her, I’m trying to drink more water. She said drinking different kinds made it easier for her. So I thought I’d give it a try.
Over the course of this week, I drank 12 different kinds of flavored waters: fizzy, flat, fruit flavored, vegetable flavored, vitamin enriched, colored, clear ~ you get the point.
Here’s what I found out: I like my water like I like my ice cream – cold and as plain as possible. My very favorite ice cream flavor isn’t even vanilla. It’s sweet cream ~ it has no enhancements at all.
I’m just a plain chick, I guess. So I’m sticking with my old-well-used-dented red Sigg bottle and fresh water. Works for me.
What works for you?
I’ll tell you all about it (and reply to your comments) next Sunday.
